Last night I was watching Discovery Channel’s amazing “Planet Earth” series. Mrod is also obsessed with it. They were surveying some of the most beautiful rivers and waterfalls in the world. They focused a few minutes on Iguazo Falls on the border of Brazil and Argentina.
As I watched the wide-angle shot of the falls I was like….I’ve been there.
It seems impossible, but I spent an entire day just walking through and around those falls, and could have spent another entire day there. They’re really just that amazing.
The fact that I’ve been so lucky to see a place that most can only watch on the Discovery Channel gave me a few moments of pause to consider just how damn lucky I am.
Then I went back to being upset about some small trivial thing…
